James Malcom Cogan, 85, formerly of Hopewell, died Saturday. He was born in Hopewell Township, son of the late Chester and Dulcie (Hann) Cogan. He married Judith A. Mellott on March 26, 1959. Surviving are his wife; six children: Colleen, Jeffrey, Patrick, Kathleen Wise, Denise Terdiman and James; 15 grandchildren and a brother, C. Allan. He was preceded in death by two daughters: Christine Cogan and Stephanie Atkins; and four siblings: Richard, Miriam Hanks, Dean and Henry. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Friends will be received from 5 until the 7 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, Oct 23, 2012, at Akers Funeral Home, Everett.
