At the last debate, John McGinnis, Republican candidate for General Assembly for the 79th District, stated that he would like to keep his job at the Penn State Altoona working as an economics professor part-time, in addition to his duties as legislator.
Meanwhile, he will be getting paid to work full-time as the representative for the 79th District. I don't know about you, but with the state budget as tight as it is, we need someone to represent us who is willing to work full-time, particularly when we're paying them a full-time salary to be there for us.
Oh, and part of his Penn State salary is also coming from we taxpayers since it is a state-supported school.
Vote for Flarend, who will be full-time, 100 percent committed to represent Altoona and be our man in Harrisburg.
