Elaine M. (Adams) Latterner, 65, Hollidaysburg, died Wednesday evening at The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg after a brief illness.
She was born in Cresson, daughter of Dolores (McGuire) Adams and the late Alfred Adams. She married Lester D. Latterner on Feb. 14, 2000, in Winchester, Va.
Surviving are her mother of Cresson; her husband; two sons: Robert S. Bard and wife, Colleen, and Shawn McCloskey, all of Lakemont; a daughter, Pamela McPherson and husband, Mark, of Lewiston, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three siblings: Norman and Ronnie Adams and Nancy Hoover, all of Cresson; and her best friend, Evelyn Monahan of Lakemont.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Philip Adams.
Elaine attended Penn Cambria High School and was employed as a machinist at SKF for 38 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. She enjoyed reading and shopping and loved her family.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, by Father Anthony Legarski. Committal will be at New St. Mary Cemetery.
The family requests that donations be made to St. Mary Catholic Church in memory of Elaine.
