Ashli Livermore, Lauren Lucas and Sarah Seidel all scored singles victories to spark second-seeded Altoona to a 5-0 win over third-seeded State College in the semifinal round of the District 6-AAA girls team tennis tournament Monday.
Altoona (14-2) also got doubles wins from the teams of Marina Dixon and Emilee Hollingsworth, and Kim Letscher and Julia Nagle.
Altoona faces top-seeded Hollidaysburg in Wednesday's championship match.

Tyrone tops BG
TYRONE - Ana Hollen, Keturah Weaver and Jordan McCormick each scored singles wins, and the team of Abby Crider and Marly Wagner logged a doubles win, as Tyrone defeated Bishop Guilfoyle, 4-1 in the quarterfinal round of the District 6-AA team tennis tournament.
Tyrone advances to today's semifinal-round match at Westmont Hilltop. Bishop Guilfoyle's lone victory came from the team of Juliana Burke and Jess Boslet.

Somerset duo wins title
Somerset's team of Sydney Geary and Hope Brock won the District 5 doubles championship at the Summit Tennis & Racquet Club, defeating Bedford's duo of Ericka Klavuhn and Amber Lafferty in the championship match.
The winning Somerset team earned a berth in the PIAA state doubles tournament, Nov. 2-3 at the Hershey Racquet Club.
Klavuhn and Lafferty reached the championship round by winning matches in the quarterfinals and semifinals.
