Karl F. Steinbrunner, 90, Valley View Home, formerly of Altoona, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. today at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church by Monsignor Michael Becker. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
Karl was also preceded in death by a sister, Helen Bottenfield.
