Kenneth F. Raugh, 69, Jeffersonton, Va., formerly of Roaring Spring, passed away Oct. 3, 2012, at home.
He was born in Roaring Spring, son of Merrill W. and Geraldine (Benner) Raugh. He married Mila Nier on March 28, 1964, in Martinsburg.
He was loved and will be missed by his wife and his family: a daughter, Annastacia Clinton and husband, Lt. Col. Thomas E. Jr.; two grandchildren: Cameron and Molly; and a brother-in-law, James Ake and family.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Carrie Ake.
Ken was employed by Jim Harris, Buick GMC, in Warrenton, Va. He was a great football fan and made the first touchdown for Central High School. He passionately researched the Civil War and WWII, and he was an extra in the movie "Gettysburg."
A celebration of his life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at the Masonic Lodge, Nason Drive, Roaring Spring, where a Masonic service will be held at 2 p.m.
