Gwen W. "DJ" Keller, 67, Altoona, went home to be with the Lord on Friday at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Meyer and Pauline (Lessack) Wolberg. She was twice married, first to Larry M. Sailer of Philadelphia in 1963 and then to Wilbur R. Johnston of Altoona in 1983. He preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1994.

She is survived by the love of her life since 2000, Edwin A. Luther of Barnesboro; a daughter, Margi Brendel and husband, Carl, of Altoona; two sons: Eric M. Sailer and wife, Sharren, of Cresson; Adam Sailer and wife, Schonda, of Tifton, Ga.; eight grandchildren: Nicole, Chris, Chandler, Brandon, Lakyn, Jaykob, Kate and Claire; and two great-grandchildren: Ryan and Michaela.
She attended Spring of Hope Community Church.
She was a 1962 graduate of Olney High School and attended Temple University, both in Philadelphia.
She was a disc jockey from 1986 to 2001, working in many local taverns, weddings and parties. She was the owner/operator of Station News located in The Altoona Amtrak Greyhound Transportation Center since 1997.
Gwen volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen. She adored her grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at The Good Funeral Home Inc. by Pastor Ken Anthony. Entombment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
