Ellen E. Burkey, 69, Cresson, died Friday at her residence. She was born in Beaverdale, daughter of the late John C. and Agnes (Tokarick) Burkey. She is survived by siblings: John and Ruth Belock; and foster sisters: Janet Bender and Anna Marie Gramling. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson. Committal will be at the church cemetery.
