Sandra L. Weaver, 61, Claysburg, died unexpectedly Thursday at home.
She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Paul and Grace (McCreary) Weaver.
Surviving are four siblings: Mary Jean Decker (Eugene) of Brookes Mills, John (Jane) of Martinsburg, Janet Mauk (Lou) of Claysburg and James of Hollidaysburg; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Virginia Eicher and Pauline Weaver.
Sandy was a 1970 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. She previously had worked at Wissinger's and Skills of Central Pennsylvania Inc. She was a member of St. Patrick Church. She enjoyed feeding the ducks, walking and watching her nieces' and nephews' sporting events, and she was an avid Elvis fan.
Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, at Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at St. Patrick Church, Newry, officiated by Monsignor Anthony B. Little. Interment will be at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
