Charles Donald Imler, 91, Claysburg, died Wednesday. He was born in Juniata, son of Sewell and Clara Imler. He married the late Ora Benton. Surviving are four children: Karen Wensel, Robert and Kendall Imler and Charles Wood; 10 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and a sister, S. Beryl Mowry. He was preceded in death by four siblings: Hazel, Thomas, Clifford and Melvin; and a daughter-in-law, Terresa Wood. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Imler.
