Dewey E. Noel, 40, Altoona, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Tuesday evening at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
He was born in Huntingdon, son of Anna Mae (Loop) Noel and the late Franklin E. Noel Jr.
Surviving are his mother of Altoona; two sons: Damien Noel and his mother, Heather Perez, of Inwood, W.Va., and Dakota Noel in Ohio; four brothers: James E. (Kristi), Larry E. and Anthony E., all of Altoona, and Brian E. (fiancee Candice) of Harrison, Ark.; aunts and uncles; and two nieces: Emily and Sarah.

Dewey enjoyed drawing and working in construction and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an active participant of Crossroads of Altoona.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, and 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home Inc., 2309 Broad Ave., Altoona, Pastor Stewart McClelland officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
