Albert "Pete" Miller, 84, Loretto, died Tuesday. He was born in Ashville, son of Columbia and Ema Florence Miller. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie (Leonard) Conrad; four children: David, Nadine Gregory, Donald and Thomas; seven grandchildren; 23 step-grandchildren; and two siblings: Laverne Passanita and Clair. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia; and four siblings: Junior, Ida Schmidt, Orvita Wagner and infant John. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Basilica of St. Michael, Loretto.
