Penn Cambria rallies to stun BG

Taylor Freeman had seven service points, 17 kills and 16 digs as Penn Cambria overcame a 2-0 set deficit to defeat Bishop Guilfoyle, 19-25, 13-25, 25-18, 25-21, 15-10, in high school girls volleyball Tuesday.

Kelly Yusko had nine service points and 35 assists for the Lady Panthers, who also received 19 service points from Karissa Buzzella and 12 kills from Tori Shingler.

Bishop Guilfoyle was led by Annie Dombrowski's 16 kills and 19 digs. Logan McIntosh added 19 service points and 22 digs. Rachel Potopa also had 32 assists and 10 service points for BG, while Lindsie Welteroth chipped in with seven service points and 15 digs.

Cassondra Kensinger had 38 digs, 16 service points and six aces for the winners, who also got 14 service points from Emily Shaw and 13 more from Katie Kennedy. Kara Stayduhar added 32 assists to go with nine kills each from Nicole Lynn and Kennedy.

C-K was led by Kara Snyder (25 service points, three blocks, four kills, six digs), Hannah Claycomb (14 service points and Morgan Malovich (four blocks, four digs).

Altoona also received seven service points and 26 assists from Aubrey Hileman, and Natalie Biesecker chipped in with 10 blocks. Hollidaysburg was led by Katie Reed, who had nine service points and 12 assists, while teammate Meghan Daisley had 18 digs.

Heights was led by Allison Lidwell (11 service points), Morgan Scott (seven kills), Jamie Snedden (nine kills) and Kylie Miller (13 blocks, nine service points).
