Maurice A. "Brother" Rice, 74, Havertown, passed away Sept. 29, 2012.
He was born in Mylo Park, Cambria County, son of the late Maurice and Mary Ellen (Spahr) Rice.
He will be greatly missed by his wife, Lynne; three daughters: Polly A. Rice, Bridget Fischbein (Al) and Gretchen Corialos (Phil); three sons: Toby (Amy), Sean (Eileen) and M. Jason; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and 11 brothers and sisters.

Maurice retired from TWA after 42 years of service. A caring, beloved, gentle man, he was slow to anger and quick to smile. He was not just a father, he was a Dad. Having received many "Man of the Year" awards from TWA, he was "Man of Every Year" to his family.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto. Committal will be at St. Michael's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Maurice's memory may be made to Hospice, 3300 Henry Ave., Suite 500, Philadelphia, PA 19129.
