Area residents enjoy services provided by everyday workers: firefighters, policemen, highway workers, teachers, water authority workers, etc. Without these services, our lives would be much worse.
That is why I am asking for you to consider Richard Flarend for the 79th House seat. He is a local family man, dedicated to common-sense values including pro-life and pro-family. With our city heading into Act 47, we need a representative who will bring any and all help available from the state when it is needed.
Richard's opponent is making promises to cut back on services we currently enjoy.
Richard is a professor at Penn State Altoona. He is not someone who constantly reminds you how intelligent he is because that's not the way he is. The 79th has always been a blue-collar, hardworking area.
Let us put someone in the office who will ensure it stays that way.
