Joseph F. Moxin Jr., 62, Hollidaysburg, died Thursday at Altoona Regional.
He was born in Pittsburgh, son of the late Joseph F. Sr. and Frances (Hetzer) Moxin. He married Bianca Mergen in October 2011.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Erin Stephens and husband, David, of Altoona; a sister, Mary Cuddy of Moon Township; and two nieces: Cristen and Cara.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen, in 1998.
Joseph was a 1968 graduate of Moon High School and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. He was formerly a paramedic in Pittsburgh and then retired from Altoona Hospital after more than 20 years as the chief perfusionist.
Joseph was a past master of Hiram Lodge 616, F&AM. He was an avid Pitt fan and enjoyed fly fishing and spending time with his golden retriever, Molly.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a Masonic service will be held at 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at the funeral home, the Rev. Chuck Monts officiating. Interment will be in Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg.
