Both the president and Paul Ryan have said that they want to make huge cuts to Medicare as if that act alone would get this country back on its feet. Ryan wants to hurt senior citizens to accomplish this. There is an easy solution to getting this country out of the red zone and still maintain the status quo for seniors: Get out of Afghanistan.
When all the troops are gone, that country will revert to what it was before we ever interfered. The United States has surrendered so much more than dollars to that country. It's time to start investing money in peace instead of war.
Mitt Romney's ideas are similar to those of Liz Cheney when she stated that other countries do not respect us anymore because of Barack Obama.
Other countries don't hate us because of what we have. They hate us because of our arrogance.
