Fred L. Foster, 70, Hopewell, died Monday. He was born in Hopewell, son of Norman and Bessie I. (Lowe) Foster. Surviving are his wife, P. Marie (Park); two children: Travis Max Lee Foster of Martinsburg and Phyllis Irene DiFlavis of Bedford; two grandchildren; and three siblings: Winifred Risbon, Linda Pritts and Harry. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter and an infant sister, Gloria. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. today and 10:30 until the 11:30 a.m. funeral service Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at Akers Funeral Home, 299 Raystown Road, Everett, the Rev. Dave Ford officiating.
