District 5 tourney moved to Thursday

October 2, 2012
The Altoona Mirror

The District 5 Golf Tournament, scheduled for today, has been postponed until Thursday.

The move was made because of expected bad weather and a death in the family of the golf pro at Great Cove Golf Club in McConnelsburg.

According to a press release from District 5 Golf Tournament director Brown Cutchall, there's a 70 percent chance of rain and thunder and lightning forecasted for today, as well as rain being predicted for Wednesday morning.

All other details of the tournament will remain the same.
