Name: Tim Rigby
Age: 54
Residence: Johnstown
High school: Ferndale
College: Pitt-Johnstown
My favorite sport: Basketball
I usually attend games with: My son, Sean
Favorite high school team: Once a Yellow Jacket, always a Yellow Jacket despite some lean years
Favorite college team: Pitt
Favorite pro team: Steelers
My favorite sports memory: Going with my dad to watch the Pirates at Forbes Field
The local athlete I've most enjoyed watching while growing up: Johnstown's Don Maser
My all-time favorite local coach: Ernie Fetzer
The most famous athlete I ever met: Arnold Palmer
My most prized autograph or picture is of: A Bart Starr personally autographed football
If I have a claim to fame as a fan, it would be: After Eric Dickerson dropped his Sharpie while signing autographs at an airport, I picked it up and handed it to him. He looked at me and said, "Thanks."
If I were the boss of local sports, the one rule I would enforce would be: If the PIAA doesn't wake up and separate private and public schools in the playoffs, I would have all AA and A schools secede from the PIAA and form the Pennsylvania Small Public Schools Association, the PSPSA.
