Dorothy L. "Dot" Parks, 83, The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, formerly of Greenwood, died Saturday at the home.
She was born in Grazierville, daughter of Clarence and Esther (Carper) Waite. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred D. Parks.
She is survived by two daughters: Betty Lou Bowers (Chris) of Altoona and Debra K. Bougher of Flinton; a brother, Donald Waite, of Springville, N.Y.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Dot was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Vincent J. Good Funeral Parlor, Bellwood, where a funeral service will be held at 8 p.m., Pastor Sharon Erb officiating. Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery.
