Josephine Scipione, 74, Portage, died Friday. She was born in Portage, daughter of Fiorindo and Vitalina Scipione. Surviving are two siblings: Anna Ramus and Frank Scipione; and a sister-in-law, Louise Scipione. She was preceded in death by seven siblings: Theodore, Frederick, Benjamin, Anthony, Mario, Domenic and Cecelia. Friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at St. Joseph Church, Portage, Father Walter J. Moll as celebrant. Committal will be in St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Wilmore. Arrangements are by Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, Portage.
