Patsy L. Edmiston, 85, Hollidaysburg, died Friday morning at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of William K. and Edna M. (Shamp) Weaver. She married Leland E. Edmiston on July 2, 1949, in Juniata, and he died Nov. 25, 2004.
Surviving are five daughters: Marsha L. Edmiston in Minnesota, Paula L. Reid of Hollidaysburg, Robin L. Edmiston-Bennett of Newark, Ohio, Jill L. Maggiore of Duncansville and Tracey L. Coners of Foley, Mo.; and two granddaughters: Holly and Megan Maggiore.

Patsy was a 1944 graduate of Altoona High School. She had been employed at the Altoona Mirror and retired from The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg as a physical therapist aide. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg, and the Order of the Eastern Star and also worked with the Rainbow Girls.
Patsy enjoyed arts and crafts, puzzles and reading.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, by Pastor Gregory Harbaugh. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.
