MCKEE - A two-vehicle crash Thursday night on Route 36/Woodbury Pike left one driver dead.
The female driver of a car that collided with a pickup truck around 7:15 p.m. was killed, Freedom Township Fire Chief Steve Bowser said at the scene.
Shortly after the crash, rain pelted emergency responders at the scene where the car and the pickup truck were crumpled into one another.

A heavy rain came down at the scene of a fatal crash on Thursday night on Woodbury Pike, McKee. An unidentified woman was killed in the two-vehicle crash.
A piece of hood ripped from the car's body laid on the side of the roadway.
A state police crash reconstruction team would determine how the crash occurred, and Blair County Coroner Patricia Ross was called to the scene, Bowser said.
The male driver of the pickup truck was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, Bowser said.
The north and southbound lanes of Woodbury Pike at the section of the crash scene were closed down, he said.
Tractor trailers heading south on Route 36 were pulled off to the side of the road. Smaller vehicles on that side of the crash scene were re-routed on nearby side streets.
Friendship Fire Company No. 1, Roaring Spring, and Hollidaysburg American Legion Ambulance Service also responded.
