Tanner Hartman, a 6-foot-4, 250-pound offensive lineman from Lynchburg Christian in Virginia, gave a verbal commitment to the Lions according to Twitter reports from Penn State recruits Adam Breneman and Christian Hackenberg on Tuesday. Hartman had previously committed to Maryland.
Hartman registered 35 pancake blocks and didn't allow a sack as a junior. His father, Tom Hartman, was a lineman at Virginia Tech in the 1980s, and his older brother, Toles?Hartman, played basketball for UNC-Asheville.
