William Witeof, 72, Altoona, died early Monday morning in Altoona. He was born in Johnstown, son of Joseph and Anna (Senchein) Witeof. Surviving are a daughter, Billie Jo of Williamsburg; four grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen Hooper of West Town; and three brothers: Frank of Lewisberry, Sam of Akron, Ohio, and John of Hollsopple. He was preceded in death by seven brothers. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, Pastor Mary Emery officiating.
