Altoona is making out just fine with the local trash haulers we have. An out-of-state hauler that doesn't have to recycle or pick up in a certain area one day of the week has no place in our city. Now we're back to garbage trucks in our area every day of the week.

Cheaper rates sucked a lot of people in, but in time, they'll wish they had thought it over. I'm surprised our city hasn't done something about this. We should support our local haulers. Jobs need to stay here.
