Irene M. Wyland, 82, of Antis Township, died Friday at Golden LivingCenter-Hillview.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Walter G. and Ruth Marie (Fieght) Fern. She was first married to Brincley H. Miller Jr. on Oct. 23, 1948. He died Oct. 21, 1961. She then married Warren W. Wyland on July 9, 1964, in Winchester, Va. He also preceded her in death on May 13, 2004.
Surviving are a son, Brincley H. Miller III of Tyrone; two daughters: Roxanne I. Wicks of Bellwood and Jodi L.(Jerry) Robinson of Perryopolis; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William Fern; and a sister, Beverly Peckowych.
Irene was a homemaker and a volunteer at Blair County Wildlife Rehabilitation. She enjoyed jigsaw and crossword puzzles and especially loved her pets.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Norman Huff officiating.
Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.
