James E. Woodring, 60, Vail, died Wednesday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Benjamin and Mary Jeanette (McKewen) Woodring. He married the late Robin Stapleton. Surviving are two children: Jennifer of Vail and Jaime of Havre de Grace, Md.; two grandchildren; and two siblings: the Rev. Benjamin Woodring and Nancy Kimble. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Northwood Baptist Church, the Rev. Benjamin Woodring officiating. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Port Matilda Presbyterian Cemetery. Arrangements are by Feller Memorial Home, Tyrone.
