Miller’s four goals lead Tigers past ’Cats

LEWISTOWN - Chris Miller, coming off a three-goal game against Altoona on Monday night, scored four goals to lead Hollidaysburg past Mifflin County, 5-1, in high school boys soccer on Wednesday.

Tyler Miller scored the Tigers' other goal. Hollidaysburg is 6-1.

Thompson's three assists gave her a career total of 48, a new school record. Central Cambria improved to 4-2 overall and in the conference.

LEWISTOWN - The Altoona Junior High School boys team improved to 5-1 with a 3-0 victory at Mifflin County. Evan Cardoza, Mike Bartley and Matt Cowan scored the goals for Altoona, which got a shutout performance from Jake Deterline.

Altoona juniors win

LEWISTOWN - Paris Haugh scored two goals, and Mykennah Lynn-Massar and Megan Vigne added one apiece, as Altoona blanked Mifflin County, 4-0 in junior high school girls action.

Alicia Carper recorded the shutout in goal for Altoona, which improved to 5-1.

Spring Cove wins

WINGATE - Rudolfo Santos scored three goals to lead Spring Cove (3-1) to a 6-1 victory over host Bald Eagle Area in junior high school boys soccer.
