Paulette J. Shatzer, 62, Riggles Gap, passed away unexpectedly Sunday at Florida Hospital Celebration Health.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Vincent and Audrey (Quartz) Scacco. She married Joseph N. Shatzer on Sept. 21, 1968, and he died Jan. 28, 2006.
Surviving are her fiance, Willard Boyer; a brother-in-law, Robert Spallone; two nieces; two nephews; and close friends: Debbie and LuAnn.

She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Pamela Spallone.
Paulette was a 1968 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She enjoyed vacationing with family and friends and spending time with her pets, Malibu and Princess.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Santella Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, by the Rev. Wayne Ayers. Committal will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
In memory of Paulette, donations may be given to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.
