Frances S. Clapper-Karns, 84, of Girard, Pa., formerly of Indiana and Pittsburgh, died Saturday evening, Sept. 15, 2012, in Girard. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Wednesday at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg. A complete obituary will appear in Tuesday's Mirror.
