Margaret A. Trexler, 67, Altoona, died Tuesday at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of David and Anne (Bell) Carland.
Surviving are a son, Stephen and wife, Sandi, of Altoona; two grandchildren: Gage and Kylee Padula; and three sisters: Virginia Seymour, Patricia Wolf and Beverly Riley.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kelly Lynn Trexler, on March 25, 2008.
Margaret was a graduate of Altoona High School. She worked as a secretary for St. Patrick's Church and as a waitress at Lena's Cafe for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at Anthony P. Scaglione Funeral Home, 1908 Seventh Ave., Altoona. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church by Monsignor Stanley Carson. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
