HUNTINGDON - In a game that started on Friday but finished on Monday night because of inclement weather, the Bellefonte football team moved to 1-1, thanks to a 29-14 win over Huntingdon.
Bellefonte benefitted from two 100-yard runners on the night, thanks to Brian White who carried the ball 19 times for 129 yards and Kahsim Buey, who totaled 162 yards on just nine carries.
The Bearcats, now 0-2, led 7-6 after one quarter, thanks to a 5-yard touchdown run by Rhett Stetchcock. Stetchcock scored from one yard out at the outset of the fourth quarter to cut the Bellefonte lead to 21-14. However, a 9-yard touchdown run by Buey with 5:03 to go in the game sealed the victory.
