Vivian S. Johnson, 87, Hollidaysburg, died Sept. 3, 2012, at Valley View Home.
She was born in Curwensville and raised by her grandmother, the late Viola Diehl Scott. She married Andrew E. Johnson on Aug. 16, 1948, in Philipsburg, and he died June 10, 2009, after having shared nearly 61 years of marriage.
Surviving are a brother-in-law, Lewis K. Johnson and wife, Doris, of Erie; as well as many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles A. "Chuck," on April 8, 2007.
Vivian was a 1942 graduate of Clearfield High School. She was a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Hollidaysburg, and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Hollidaysburg Chapter 471.
At Vivian's request, a private funeral service was held by the Rev. David P. Haydu. Interment was made at Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
Memorials may be given to St. John's Reformed Church, 906 Maple Ave., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
