Maria G. Ringler, 53, Duncansville, died unexpectedly at home Saturday morning.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Donna (Paul) Martelletti and the late Daniel Martelletti. She married Philip D. Ringler Sr. on July 1, 1983.
Surviving are her husband; her mother of Altoona; five children: Robert Stevens, Yvonne Stevens, Danielle Price, Terrance Ringler and Matthew Ringler; five grandchildren: Ashleigh and Buddy Stevens and Damian, Zakary and Adalade Ringler; a great-grandson, Jesiah Stevens; three siblings: Gregory Martelletti, Victoria Martelletti and Cristine Carder; and a nephew, Michael Martelletti.
She was preceded in death by a niece, Abigail Carder.
Maria was a 1976 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She worked for Reese Brothers for many years.
Maria was a happy-go-lucky person who loved to talk with others. She enjoyed reading, watching television and spending time with her loving husband, children and grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 5 until the 8 p.m. funeral service Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at Liebegott-Brown Funeral Home Inc., 1218 Fourth Ave., Duncansville.
