Adela R. Peckowych, 88, Bellwood, died Wednesday at Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Charles and Maryanne (Horacz) Zehowicz. She married Michael Peckowych on Oct. 23, 1948.
Surviving are her husband; three children: David Michael (Dolores) of Osceola Mills, Delcia Jean Lutchko (Larry) of Altoona and Denise Ann DeCarolis (Tony) of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren: Becky James, Adam and Lisa DeCarolis and Deedra Peckowych; two great-grandchildren: Ryan and Colin; and a sister, Lottie Mincin of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
