We need to reopen factories to make products here in the U.S. We can compete, and I will buy "Made in America" even if it costs more! So will many patriotic citizens! Create jobs? Billionaires or groups of businessmen, (not the government) could invest to open factories - that will create real jobs.
Tax breaks could help immensely, but no government control.
In the last few months, I have refused to buy items "made in China." It takes time and willpower, but I put many products back on the shelf.
