It is a scandal the way Republicans are suppressing the vote.
But, how many citizens know that if they have a Social Security number and if they voted in every election since the year 2000, they can request an absentee ballot? No picture ID with an expiration date is required in this instance. This information comes courtesy of the Obama re-election campaign.
Cases of voter fraud are practically nonexistent. But what worries me is how easy it is to hack into these machines that we now use to cast our votes. A few years ago our mass media couldn't get enough stories about how easy it would be to steal an election with these voting machines. But now, not one peep from any of them. Why?
