On July 14, 2012, the John and Brenda Hyle family of Hollidaysburg lost their beloved dog, Muffen.
Muffen passed away at home and would have been 17 years old in September.
We brought her home in October 1995, the runt of a mixed-breed litter.

Muffen
She brought us so much joy and happiness all these years.
We will always remember how much she enjoyed playing tug-of-war with her stuffed animals, fetching her ball and bouncing back with her ears flopping.
In her younger years, Muffen could identify her stuffed animals by name. She liked her trips in the car and her walks.
Our family especially enjoyed watching Muffen at Christmastime opening her gifts.
She ripped them open with excitement, holding the gift between her paws.
Muffen loved her treats, and when groceries were brought home, she would nose through the bags looking for those Beggin' Strips.
Muffen slowed down the last three years of her life, but she was always happy to see us come home.
Mommie especially misses you greeting me with those big, brown, puppy-dog smiling eyes, with your tail wagging and coming to bed with me at night. You were our friend and companion.
We miss you, Muffen, and we will love you forever. Rest in peace.
You will always be Mommie's "good girl!"
