Margaret "Peg" (Fay) Tromm, 92, formerly of Bellemead, passed away Friday morning at The Winds at Mattern Orchard, Hollidaysburg.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph H. and Mary (Caldwell) Fay. She married William E. Tromm Jr., on Oct. 30, 1941, in Altoona. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1998.
Surviving are three sons: Richard K. Tromm and his wife, Mary Ann, of Altoona, Jeffrey F. Tromm and his wife, Carol, of Altoona and William E. Tromm, III, and his wife, Beverly, of Beach Haven, N.J.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Lois T. Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

Peg was preceded in death by three brothers: Joseph, Richard and John Fay; and a sister, Louise Werts.
Mrs. Tromm was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Altoona.
She was a 1938 graduate of Altoona High School.
Peg enjoyed knitting, reading, playing Pinochle and her summer home in Beach Haven, N.J., with her family.
She also enjoyed her cat, Molly.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, at Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc., 501 Sixth Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Paula Schmitt officiating. Interment will be made at Rose Hill Cemetery, Altoona.
