Brian Lee Daugherty, 43, Duncansville, died Wednesday as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born in Altoona, son of Lewis L. "Doc" Jr. and Carol S. (Hoover) Daugherty.
Surviving are his parents; a sister, Heather Eckenrode and husband, Shannan, of Duncansville; nieces and nephews: Vickey Caldwell, Casey and Tucker Eckenrode, Chuck Lohsl, Torie McGeary and Banessa and Buddy Ott; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Roberta Diggins-Daugherty; his fiancee, Beth Mays; a brother, Mark; and an infant sister, Laura Lee.
Brian was a 1987 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and then attended culinary school. He formerly worked at Denny's. He was a member of Mountain Top Sportsmen's Association and the Altoona Radio Control Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and followed the World of Outlaws Late Model Series racing.
Friends will be received from 5 until the 8 p.m. funeral service Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, at Liebegott-Brown Funeral Home Inc., 1218 Fourth Ave., Duncansville, officiated by Brian Kurty.
