Richard T. "Dick" Noel, 66, Cassandra, died Sunday. He was born in Portage, son of William and Margaret (Paul) Noel. Surviving are his wife, Rose Marie (Shandor) of Portage; five children: William, Richard, Shannon Willinsky, Brandi Sherbine and James; seven grandchildren; and three siblings: Robert, Elaine Cummings and Joseph. He was preceded in death by a brother, William. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, Portage. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at St. Bartholomew Church, Wilmore, Father Robert Reese as celebrant.
