Richard M. "Rick" Weigl Sr., 65, Duncansville, died Friday morning at his home.
He was born in Duncansville, son of George and Ruby (Appleyard) Weigl. He married Roseanne Moyer on June 16, 1969, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Newry.
Surviving are his wife, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage; his mother, Ruby Thompson; three sons: Richard Jr. and fiance, Leeann, Michael and Andrew and wife, Amanda; six grandchildren: Shelby, Harley, Lucas, Hart, Kayla and Tony; a sister, Marleigh Pyles; two brothers: Bill and Todd; many loving nieces and nephews; and family and friends who cared for him.

Rick was a 1965 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam and received the Bronze Star. He retired as a maintenance supervisor from Norfolk Southern in 2001 after 27 years of service.
Rick was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Newry, and he enjoyed hunting and tinkering.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a vigil service will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Newry, Monsignor Anthony B. Little officiating. Committal will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Church or its school endowment fund, Newry, or Helping Hands of Tyrone.
