Bobbie Gene Dodson, 75, a longtime resident of Altoona, passed away Thursday evening at her home under the loving care of her family.
She was born in Fort Cobb, Okla., daughter of Robert and Maybell Dillingham.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roger Dodson, in 1984 and is survived by three sons: Robert (Deena) of Horseheads, N.Y., Raymond (Deborah) of Altoona and Roger (Robin) of Dover, Del.; four grandchildren: Brent, Corissa and Jaimie Dodson and Rebecca Rosbury; and a great-grandchild, Grayson Dodson.
Bobbie previously was employed at the Ultimate Bagel Shop. She enjoyed gardening and working with the Awana program at Grace Bible Church, where she attended.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug, 19, 2012, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Grace Bible Church, Hollidaysburg, Pastor Daren Ritchey officiating. Interment will be made at Rose Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Bible Church Building Fund, 164 Laurel Lane, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
