The Star Performance Dance Company traveled to Hagerstown, Md., to compete in the Creation Dance Championships on May 12 and 13.
The company brought home 14 Ultimate Victories, 19 first-place finishes and 10 second-place finishes. The company also brought home six overall high score awards, eight special judges award and 25 perfect choreography scores.
The company won the most prestigious award of the competition, "The Super Studio Award," for having the Best Choreography, Technique, Showmanship, Sportsmanship, and being the Most Entertaining out 17 other attending studios.

These are the soloists and duet/trios from the award-winning Star Performance Dance Company.
Hannah Nyanko received the title of Miss Creation 2012 for her solo performance "Come To Jesus." Hannah received an Ultimate Victory, perfect choreography scores and beat out 50 other twelve and under soloists. The routine was choreographed by Danielle Lykens.
Madelynn Kanouff received a second-place overall out of 50 ages 12 and younger soloists for her routine "Cooties." She received an Ultimate Victory and perfect choreography scores. Choreography was by Lykens.
Piper Wadlinger received fourth-place overall in the age 12 and younger category for her solo, "One World." She received an Ultimate Victory and perfect choreography scores. Choreography was by Lykens.
Madison Wadlinger was the first runner-up out of 80 other soloists in the 13 and older category for her routine "When You Believe." She received and Ultimate Victory and perfect choreography. Choreography was by Lykens.
Carely Ingold finished third overall out of 80 soloists and received an Ultimate Victory, perfect choreography scores for her solo "Mary Did You Know." Choreography was by Lykens.
The 12 and younger acro duet "Walk Like An Egyptian" finished third overall out of 20 duets and received an Ultimate Victory. Choreography was by Lykens.
The teen lyrical routine "Under The Moon'' finished third place overall out of 30 group numbers and received an Ultimate Victory. Featured members were Carley Ingold, Chelsea Moses, Amy O'Brien, Madison Wadlinger and Kara Wilt. Choreographed by Lykens.
Other routines that received Ultimate Victory awards were:
n The teen line "Best Friends Brother," the junior super group "Big Band'' and teen solos "Sapphire Waltz" and "My Daddy's in Heaven," performed by Ashley VanVeenendaal. All routines were choreographed by Lykens.
n The teen solo "Going, Going, Gone," performed by Madison Wadlinger and choreographed by Kaitlyn Baker.
n The teen solos "Sophie" and "Matilda" performed and choreographed by Chelsea Moses.
Special awards were given to Chelsea Moses for having the best character portrayal for her solo "Matilda," Alexis Quintero for her cute and fun energetic portrayal in her solo country character, Madeline Maier and Rachael McKinney for the best prop, Paige Nyanko for her solo beautiful ballet portrayal, Piper Wadlinger for her solo Bollywood style, Hannah Nyanko for her inspirational dancing, Kaitlyn Baker for her artistic inspiration for her choreography in "The Raven" and "Dinosaurs" for best costuming.
The competition held a mock audition in the style of hip-hop/lyrical and Madison Wadlinger and Chelsea Moses finished in the top four out of 100 other 13 and older contestants.
In "Mom's Dance Off," Lykens finished in the top five, and Alisha Clingerman finished in the top three.
