Envy Nail, Lane Bryant coming to Logan Centre

August 16, 2012
The Altoona Mirror

From Mirror staff reports

Two new tenants soon will be coming to Logan Town Centre.

Envy Nail and Spa and Lane Bryant plan to open on Falon Lane this fall, said Bob Varner, vice president of Pennswood Commercial Realty, which holds the leasing contract for Logan Town Centre.

Envy Nail and Spa, based in Cumberland, Md., is a family-operated business.

"Part of my job is to canvass local and regional markets identifying quality tenants to bring to Altoona," Varner said in a statement. "You can usually find a nail salon on any corner, but when I saw this salon in Cumberland, it really stood out. I'm certain they will be hugely successful in Altoona."

Lane Bryant is a leading specialty apparel retailer providing stylish and high-quality fashions in sizes 14 to 28 and carries a wide selection of career to casual apparel as well as accessories and footwear.

"We are pleased to have LB join us at Logan Town Centre. They are implementing a strategy to open in power strip projects that enable destination customers to drive up, immediately access the store, shop and save time. That's the beauty of an "open air center," Varner said. "Today's shopper is more focused, and Logan Town Centre offers those advantages."

Meanwhile, two new restaurants, Dairy Queen Grill and Chill as well as Texas Roadhouse are under construction next to Chili's on Osgood Drive.

Dairy Queen Grill and Chill is expected to open in October and Texas Roadhouse in March, Varner said.
