Carol A. Spangler, 72, Duncansville, died Sunday at Altoona Regional.
She was born in Johnstown, daughter of Harry and Elmira (Harteis) Varner.
Surviving are a daughter, Denise Cherry and husband, Joe, of Duncansville; two sons: Randy and wife, Lisa, of Duncansville and Scott of Denver, Colo.; five grandchildren: Derek, Payton, Dillon, Kaleen and Lance; two great-grandchildren: Silas and Emmett; a sister, Betty Lou Pejack of Johnstown; a brother, Terry Varner of Pittsburgh; and a stepbrother, Chuck Varner of Johnstown.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Sherry Lynn.
A committal service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury.
