Donald E. Brown, 75, Shippensburg, died Wednesday at home.
He was born in Newry, son of the late James R. Sr. and Edna J. (Glass) Brown.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Virginia; a daughter, Donna Eyer and husband, David, of Shippensburg; two sisters: Barbara Clark of Hollidaysburg and Ruth Dalby of Altoona; and several in-laws, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: James R. Jr. and John R.; and a son, Duane E.
Donald attended Altoona High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1955-58. He was a forklift operator at Inland Container in Biglerville, retiring in 1998 after 21 years of service.
Services will be private. Arrangements are by Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg.
