William H. "Bill" Kling, 82, of Cumming, Ga., formerly of Altoona and Gary, Ind., passed away Friday.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late William and Hazel Kling.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Frances Kling; daughters and sons-in-law: Kara and Jim Foley of Kansas City, Mo., Debbie and Bobbie Nagel of Fort Myers, Fla., Ellie Kling of Gary, Ind., Jackie Kling of Cumming, Ga., and Kathryn and Chuck Phipps of Cumming, Ga.; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and other loving relatives and friends.
Bill served in the U.S. Air Force for seven years, rising to the rank of staff sergeant. He retired from Premier Refractories after 35 years. Bill was also a deacon for 40 years.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at Ingram Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held in the chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, with the Rev. Steve Dudley officiating. Interment will follow at 1 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery.
